We simply adore food and have a real passion for wines at The Ship. We like to think of ourselves as a far from usual pub, we're a pub with a real love for English wine and proper beer. If you consider yourself a foodie, a trip to The Ship is most de nitely in order.

We believe in simplicity. Great food served in a gloriously unfussy manner. We believe in the power of the local artisan too. Producers like us, who are red by the same passion in all they do and create. Whether it’s the  nest seafood paired with the  nest of English wines or a locally sourced lamb matched to a robust merlot - passion and imagination are our main ingredients.
